Springbrook Overnighter


Springbrook State Park is approximately 45 minutes from Des Moines.
The Conservation Education Center includes bunk bed sleeping in heated dorm-style buildings.

Saturday, November 5, 2011
We will drive as a group and leave from the Sacred Heart Church Parking Lot at 8:45am
Sunday, November 6, 2011
We will arrive back at Sacred Heart Church Parking Lot at approximately 11:00am

WEBELOS: Have the option of going up on Friday, Nov 4, 2011. We will sleep in tents at one of the youth campsites and do a some activities specifically geared towards this age group.

Cost:
$15 per Webelo attending both Friday/Saturday (including adults)
$10 per person overnighters (including adults)
$5 per person day campers (including adults)
Day campers leave @ 6pm (after dinner)
All Tiger Cubs must be accompanied by a parent/guardian

Checklist:

  • Tent (Friday night ONLY – Webelos)
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Towels
  • Flashlight/Headlamp
  • Cub Scout Shirt (for Campfire)
  • Personal Care Items (toothbrush/toothpaste, hair brush, etc…)
  • Bug Spray
  • Change of Clothes
  • Jacket/Sweatshirt and Hat (it can get cool at night)

Registration form and fees must be turned into Katherine Coady or the Scout Box in the Sacred Heart School office by Friday, October 28th by School Dismissal.
